The annual Run for the Money event celebrates more than 40 years of heightening public awareness about the challenges faced by adults with developmental disabilities and raising funds for their ongoing support services. This event takes place each July and consists of many exciting community events.
In 2023, The annual event concluded triumphantly, raising an impressive sum of $291,082.36!!! We extend heartfelt gratitude to all the generous donors and dedicated volunteers whose contributions made this year's event truly memorable. As they say, it truly takes a village, and Citrus County has once again proven its commitment to providing day and residential scholarships throughout the year to individuals in our community with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are in need. Together, we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those who require our support.
