Key Thrift Stores COVID-19 Update-

Our stores have always been at the heart of our community – a role we take seriously. We’re closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation, and following the guidance of the CDC and other health officials. The Key Training Center Retail Operations have taken several extra health and wellbeing measures to best meet the needs of our team members and customers.

1. Effective Saturday, March 21st, Social Distancing practices were put in place by asking everyone to respect the minimum of 6 Feet while in checkout lines and throughout the store. We implemented tape lines on the floor at the checkout lines. The tape areas are guides to keep the recommended distances. We are asking customers to stay behind the line until they are called up to the register. We are asking customers to please minimize or avoid any unnecessary physical contact between customers and team members.

2. Effective Monday, March 23rd, our stores hours have been temporarily adjusted to ensure a clean and safe environment. The Thrift stores will be closed from 1pm-2pm each day for midday cleaning, stocking, and sanitizing duties. The stores will be opening an hour later and closing earlier. This measure is in addition to our restrooms, carts, and all common areas being cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

3. The donation ramps at the stores will remain open. For convenience and safety, we will now offer curb side donations. Customers will be able to pull up and pop their trunk and a team member will take their donation without customers having to leave their vehicle.

4. Our team members are being consistently screened before their work day. All team members are washing their hands and using hand sanitizer multiple times per day. We have displayed signs illustrating proper disease prevention practices in all stores.
