Run for the Money 2024 was a huge success! This annual event, celebrating over 40 years of raising awareness and support for adults with developmental disabilities, brought the community together once again. Thanks to our generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we raised over $310,000 to provide day and residential scholarships for those in need right here in Citrus County! Participants logged an incredible 2,862.87 miles, including contributions from core runners (180 miles), community runners (180 miles), cyclists (180 miles), Virtual Run Team Citrus County for the Key (1,490.88 miles), and Virtual Run Team Walk to Make a Difference (831.99 miles). This amazing effort proves that when we come together, we can make a real impact! 💙💪 #RunForTheMoney #CitrusCountyCares #MakingADifference

Pick a home to represent and show individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities everywhere that you support them and are willing to WALK A MILE IN THEIR SHOES! Registration is now open at $30 per person. Early check in will be at 8 a.m. at the Key Center’s Lecanto Campus Pavilion located at 1311 N. Come welcome our runner’s home after their grueling 180 mile run at our Runners Celebration! Core and community runners will arrive at the Key Center’s Lecanto Campus Pavilion at 10:00 a.m. located at 1311 N. Garnett Miller Loop. We’ll celebrate with a day filled with fun, food, and games! Inflatables, dunk tanks, music, and a host of activities will pack the pavilion. A day your entire family will enjoy for only $5.00 a person.
