Direct Support Professional Appreciation Week – Key Training Center

Direct Support Professional Appreciation Week

Direct Support Professional Week

Citrus County- When you think of Direct Support Professionals, what comes to mind? When The Key Training Center thinks of DSP’s, the first words that come to mind are caring, person-centered, advocate, meaningful, supportive, and respected. The DSP’s that work at The Key Center is the backbone to the agency; their caring demeanor is just one of the attributes that stick out. Their ability to be advocates, to consistently put the client’s needs first, and create a meaningful life for the people that they care for is something that The Key Center respects.

In September, during the week of Monday the 14th through Friday the 18th, The Key Center will be showcasing their excellent DSP staff. With roughly 200 DSP staff, The Key Center knows that they could not fulfill their Mission and provide care for all of their beautiful clients without each one of them. Please join The Key Center and other facilities/organizations nationwide in celebrating the selfless work that Direct Support Professional’s put into their day to day work. “This DSP Week, we’d like all of our DSP’s to know that they’re our HERO’S and we’re thankful for them. We admire their dedication, devotion, and commitment to the people we serve. Their work of enthusiasm and passion doesn’t go unnoticed and is experienced by others daily!” – Melissa Walker, Executive Director. The Key Center gives thanks their DSPs for their work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and hopes the community does!
