A Night of Music, Memories and Giving Back to the Key Training Center
Community members came together at The Cove Resort & Pub for an unforgettable evening celebrating music, friendship and generosity in support of the Key Training Center.
A Celebration Through the Decades
INVERNESS — The music brought back memories, the costumes sparked smiles, and the generosity gave the evening its meaning. On Tuesday, October 27, community members gathered at The Cove Resort & Pub for the 2nd Annual Decades Costume Party, benefiting the Key Training Center and the individuals it served.
With styles spanning the ’50s through the ’90s and live entertainment by Music of the Decades, the patio filled with familiar songs, laughter and opportunities to connect. Guests came ready to celebrate, but their presence meant more than a fun night out. Each ticket purchased and every contribution helped support people who remained at the heart of the Key Training Center’s mission.
The evening featured a taco bar, dancing, a silent auction, door prizes and a “Spin to Win” raffle. Between songs and conversations, friends and neighbors shared in a celebration that brought the community together for a common purpose.

Monica Philips of Music of the Decades joined Noel Lovin, manager of The Cove, and Amanda Oestrich, Development and Community Relations Manager for the Key Training Center, in thanking attendees. The gathering reflected the care of hosts, musicians and supporters who gave their time and talents to make the evening possible.
For the Key Training Center team, the welcome they received from The Cove made the occasion especially meaningful.
“The Cove team was amazing to work with—kind, supportive, and truly touched by our mission,” the team said in a statement of appreciation. “We can’t thank them enough for opening their doors and hearts to make a difference in our community.”

All proceeds benefited the Key Training Center, carrying the evening’s generosity beyond the patio and into the lives of the individuals it served.
As the celebration came to a close, the Key Training Center had much to be grateful for: a welcoming host, musicians who brought people together, and a community that showed its support by showing up.
