Celebrating Our DSPs
The Key Training Center celebrated Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week, September 14–18, honoring the dedicated team members who provide essential support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout our community.
DSPs are at the heart of the Key Training Center’s mission. Each day, they work alongside the individuals we serve, providing encouragement, guidance and support while helping them develop skills, build confidence, increase independence and pursue their individual goals.
Leadership Rolls Up Its Sleeves
This year, Key Training Center directors and members of the management team found a fun way to show their appreciation — they rolled up their sleeves, grabbed the hoses and buckets, and washed our DSP staff members’ cars!
For a team that spends every day supporting others, it was an opportunity for Key leadership to turn the tables and serve the people who give so much of themselves to our mission.
There was plenty of water, soap, laughter and teamwork as vehicles made their way through our special DSP Week car wash. More importantly, it gave us another opportunity to remind our DSPs just how important they are to the individuals we serve and to the entire Key Training Center family.

During DSP Week — and throughout the entire year — we thank our Direct Support Professionals for the kindness, love, dignity and respect they bring to their work every day.
After 60 years of serving our community, it is dedicated people like our DSPs who continue to make our mission possible.
