For 60 years, the Key Training Center has been opening doors to independence, opportunity, and purpose for adults with developmental disabilities across Citrus County.
From the 1970s… to the 1980s… to the 1990s… and beyond — every decade tells a story of lives empowered, barriers broken, and dreams supported.
These incredible faces represent more than just our history… they are our legacy. Each blue shirt, each smile, and each story is a reminder that independence is not just a goal — it’s a journey we’ve proudly walked together for six decades.

Through the I AM the Key campaign, we celebrate the individuals we serve, the families who trust us, and the dedicated staff who have helped make independence possible generation after generation.
