Performers Shine at The KEY Center’s Got Talent! 2026

LECANTO, Fla. — Singing, dancing, laughter, and plenty of audience support filled the room during The KEY’s Got Talent! 2026, where clients of the Key Training Center showcased their talents while competing for cash prizes and the title of this year’s top performer. Co-hosted by Jessica Barberia and Theresa Flick, the annual talent competition featured a variety of musical and dance performances before an enthusiastic crowd of family members, friends, staff, and supporters.

Judges Kathy Neikirk, Tony Smith, Jennie Lafoe, and Bruce McKinnell had the difficult task of selecting winners from a field of talented contestants, while Michael Lombardi and Dennis Miller handled sound duties throughout the event.

Performers competed for cash prizes of $100, $50, $25, and $10, taking the stage with a wide range of musical selections. Caprice Ward opened the competition with “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” while Michael Robinson performed Vince Gill’s “Trying to Get Over You.” Matt Gosse energized the audience with a dance routine to “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters, sporting shiny blue pants, a matching shirt, and hat. Stephanie Mikesell delivered an emotional rendition of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb,” earning loud applause and cheers from family and friends, including her father Stephen Mikesell, brother Bryan Mikesell, Aunt Robin Lynn, and family friend Mike Keller. Elyse Perlowin entertained the audience with a spirited performance of Hannah Montana’s “Best of Both Worlds,” while family friend Colleen Henley and parents Bonnie and Gary Bomarigo proudly watched from the audience. Other contestants included Richard Hill performing “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” Michael Lombardi and Jessica Barberia singing “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, Terri Barker performing “The Gambler,” Misti Henderson singing Atlantic Starr’s “Secret Lovers,” William Barker performing “Sweet Home Alabama,” Alexis Councill dancing to “Greased Lightnin’,” Cruz Geisinger singing “The Capitals,” Lina Cloutier performing “Bye Bye Bye,” and Danielle Works singing “Life Is a Highway.” A special highlight of the event was the performance of “A Whole New World” by Barberia and Lombardi, who recently assumed leadership roles as president and vice president of the Key Center Drama Club.

While judges finalized their scores, members of the Key Center Drama Club returned to the stage for a lively cast finale, leading the audience in the “Cupid Shuffle” and keeping the excitement going until the winners were announced.

When the scores were tallied, Alexis Councill captured first place with a high-energy dance performance to “Greased Lightnin’.” Stephanie Mikesell earned second place for her performance of “The Climb,” while Terri Barker took third place with “The Gambler.” William Barker also received recognition among the event’s top finishers for his performance of “Sweet Home Alabama.”
