Making a Difference, One Project at a Time
We are so grateful for the incredible group of students from the Seven Rivers Christian School football team who spent a hot summer day giving back at the Key Training Center!
Nearly 20 student-athletes, led by Head Coach Monty Vann, spent the day helping with projects we’ve been hoping to tackle but simply haven’t had the extra hands to complete. Despite temperatures in the 90s, they jumped right in and got to work.
The students cleared out old pots and debris from our former nursery area, painted the campus gazebo, cleaned out a large greenhouse, and even dug the first planting holes for a new butterfly garden!
The butterfly garden will create a peaceful outdoor space for the individuals we serve, their families, and visitors to enjoy. We are excited to watch it take shape—and we love knowing that the Seven Rivers football team helped get it started.
Their willingness to spend a day working hard in the summer heat was a wonderful reminder of the difference community partnerships can make. We are thankful for every student who showed up ready to work, serve, and make our campus a better place.
